Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025: Everything You Need to Know

• There is no age limit to appear for CUET UG 2025.
• Students who have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) or are appearing for Class 12 exams in 2025 can apply.
• Each participating university may have specific subject and percentage requirements for admission, so candidates must check the eligibility criteria of their desired university.

The CUET UG 2025 exam is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and includes:

• Each question carries 5 marks.
• Negative marking: 1 mark deducted for every incorrect answer.
• Students can choose up to 5 subjects (including Language and General Aptitude).

Follow these steps to apply:

1. Visit the official website: cuet.nta.nic.in
2. Register online: Provide details like name, email, and mobile number.
3. Fill out the application form: Enter personal and academic details.
4. Upload required documents:
   • Recent passport-size photograph
   • Scanned signature
   • Category/PwD certificate (if applicable)
5. Pay the application fee online via Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI.
6. Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

The application fee varies based on the number of subjects chosen:

• Payment must be made online via Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI.
• Fees are non-refundable.

Yes, NTA provides a correction window from 24 March to 26 March 2025. During this period, candidates can edit limited fields in the application form.

• However, corrections in mobile number and email ID are not allowed.
• Make sure to double-check all details before submitting the application.

The admit card will be available on the NTA website before the exam. Follow these steps:

Go to cuet.nta.nic.in.
Click on "Download Admit Card."
Enter your application number & date of birth.
Download and print the admit card.
Important:

The admit card will contain exam date, time, venue, and instructions.
Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam center.

• Report to the exam center at least 2 hours before the exam.
• Carry the following:
  • Admit Card (Printed Copy)
  • Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, School ID, etc.)
  • Passport-size Photograph (same as uploaded in the application)
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)
• Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, calculators, study material, smartwatches, and food items.

• The exact result date will be announced later on the NTA website.
• The result will be based on normalized scores in case of multiple shifts.
• Candidates can check their results at cuet.nta.nic.in by logging in with their application number and date of birth.

• NTA does NOT conduct counseling.
• Each university will release its own merit list and admission criteria based on CUET scores.
• Candidates must apply separately to universities of their choice after the results are declared.
